BALLROOM BASIX (BBX) is nonprofit arts-in-education initiative dedicated to nurturing the social, emotional and physical well-being of schoolchildren, transforming the landscape of the classroom by instilling values of kindness, cooperation, camaraderie, acceptance, self-esteem, courtesy and respect in our young, diverse students through the poise and politeness of noncompetitive “Ballroom, Latin, & Line” dancing.
BALLROOM BASIX USA, Inc.(BBX) is seeking a Development Coordinator who brings a foundation of 2-5+ years nonprofit/development experience.
This individual will work closely with the Executive/Artistic Director and an enthusiastic, dedicated Team which includes a Media Manager, Operations Manager, Outreach/Projects Manager, Government/Council Relations Manager, Program Coordinator, Staff Assistants and Financial Coordinator. The Development Coordinator will represent BALLROOM BASIX to the New York/New Jersey community to support the meaningful mission of the organization.

Qualifications:
The Development Coordinator will initially start part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week with flexible business hours. After an initial period, full time work could be considered. While our work is mostly remote, a NYC metro region individual is preferred. Availability for events (in person) would be required.
