The Learning Support role will assist SWE’s content and programs team prepare virtual programs and the Invent it. Build it. Outreach event, held during our Annual Conference, called WE, held on October 20-22. This position will work with a variety of roles including adding content to a new learning management system, running registration reports, scheduling meetings, cross checking applicants and RSVPs, and a variety of pre-planning conference logistics.
This position will use a variety of learning technologies to edit videos, publish courses, create assessments, add closed captions to recorded content, and compile learning resources and reports. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, have great attention to detail, and have experience developing digital content using a variety of technologies. This position will also have great analytical and problem-solving skills.
Summary of Responsibilities:
· Provide general support to SWE’s learning and development staff to create student (K-12) and professional virtual programs.
· Create and publish online learning solutions using various technologies (Articulate 360 - Storyline, Rise, Quiz Maker, and Camtasia).
· Video editing and production.
· Add closed captions files Articulate 360 files.
· Assist the learning and development team in compiling and manipulating program data, analyzing data, and creating data summaries.
· Assist with identified website updates.
· Onsite inventory management.
· Collaborate on the planning and development of professional learning content.
· Assist in troubleshooting instructional support program issues with vendors.
· Provide excellent customer service.
· Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks on time.
· Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
· Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner.
· Writes clearly and informatively; edits for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs.
· Composes, types, and distributes meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.
· Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· Undergraduate or graduate degree in education, marketing, graphic design, business administration, or related field.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to develop learning solutions.
· Detail-oriented with high-quality standards.
· Strong data analysis skills.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss issues or concerns.
· Ability to work autonomously.
· Ability to learn quickly and apply learning to problems or activities
· An organized team player who can manage multiple tasks
