Medical Internship

The intern will intern in local hospital where he/she will assist in:-

• Evaluating the function of the muscular skeletal, nervous, respiratory and circulatory systems.
• Measuring joint range and muscle strength.
• Testing for loss of sensation.
• Evaluating the nature of pain.

This is an on-going activity, volunteers will be using English language and working 8 hours Monday-Friday Morning and afternoon.

Knowledge of English is required.

6 - 8 hours a day, weekends are free. Accommodation with a selected host family, transport from Nairobi to the location by public transport, Airport pick up is provided upon request.

Orientation will be done at Pamoja Office to explain to the volunteer to inform about Kenya, work, location, what is expected of you or what you expect from the institution and all payments including commitment and program fee will be paid in the offices during orientation

We encourage groups of volunteers to apply. The Project is located in Kisumu and Mombasa Minimum duration 2-8 weeks.
