Katimavik’s FuturePerfect program is a unique opportunity for young adults aged 18 to 30 to gain valuable work experience in a supportive environment. The program begins with two weeks of intensive training and orientation, covering professional development, workplace etiquette, and personal growth. Over 12 weeks, participants work full-time with one of Katimavik’s partner employers in various industries, developing key employability skills. Program participants will be paid a full wage.
Throughout the placement, participants receive ongoing support from a Job Developer to help them navigate their roles and enhance their career prospects. Housing and transportation to and from the host community are fully covered by Katimavik, reducing financial barriers and allowing participants to focus on their professional journey. Participants are expected to engage actively in their work placements, manage daily tasks, and contribute to the community.
