Vernon Memorial Healthcare is a rural nonprofit critical access hospital. We have received a 5 Star award for Patient Experience 16 years in a row. Our volunteers are a vital role in achieving this acknowledgement with patient wayfinding, assisting transporting patients in wheelchairs to their destination, managing and working in our gift shop, participation in fundraising efforts and in various positions behind the scenes which then allows staff to focus on patient care and safety.
