Abortion Access Front

Founded in 2015 under the name Lady Parts Justice League, Abortion Access Front is a team of comedians, activists, writers, and producers that uses humor to destigmatize abortion and expose the extremist anti-choice forces working to destroy access to reproductive rights in all 50 states.

We do the job that the media doesn’t, creating provocative and hilarious videos, social media content, and a podcast that educates people about the pervasive, discriminatory abortion laws that profoundly and disproportionately impact the poor and people of color. Another crucial part of AAF’s mission is to support and raise awareness about independent abortion providers. These clinics bear the brunt of anti-abortion legislation and harassment and also provide the majority of abortion care in the U.S.

Abortion Access Front (AAF) infuses comedy into reproductive rights spaces while also dropping some knowledge and activism into our pop culture and social lives inspiring folks who have not been active in the feminist and reproductive justice movements to get on board.

AAF also helps expose the bad guys on a local level, traveling around the country, bringing together, comedians, artists and reproductive rights activists to form their own local leagues and working with them to create fun and outrageous ways to expose the hometown extremists who are fighting against everything from access to sex education to shaming women for daring to demand justice for rape or equal pay for equal work.

Since day 1, the AAF has been committed to diversity, understanding that reproductive justice needs vary by race and gender identity. We have fostered a multi cultural, multi ethnic, gender fluid team of creative listeners and questioners who understand how important and rewarding it is to make content that comes from and speaks to a diversity of life experience.
