Goodwill Northern New England AmeriCorps Programs

Goodwill Industries of Northern New England serves Maine, New Hampshire and northern Vermont. The overarching goal for the organization is to be instrumental in moving 10,000 people out of poverty and into stability over the course of the next 10 years. Goodwill’s AmeriCorps staff operate 3 AmeriCorps programs and are passionate about national service. We work hard to put emphasis on making a positive impact in the community and creating outstanding volunteer opportunities for AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA members. Goodwill’s AmeriCorps staff have a cumulative 40 years of experience with AmeriCorps and are 100% AmeriCorps Alums and 75% VISTA Alums. We believe in the power of national service and do our best to safe guard its reputation.

Goodwill has three unique AmeriCorps programs offering opportunities to serve communities throughout Maine and New Hampshire: the Multilingual Leadership Corps, VISTA, and the Granite State Service Corps.

 All of these full time, 11-12 month positions receive a living stipend, some form of health benefit, and, upon completion of the term, receive an education award of $6,095 to be used for future or past school expenses.
