The San Francisco 49ers Academy

The San Francisco 49ers Academy (49ers Academy) is a nonprofit organization integrated into the public school system that empowers underserved youth in East Palo Alto schools to achieve academic success and reach their full potential.

The 49ers Academy addresses the ongoing challenges facing low-income students. It bridges the ever-widening opportunity gap through a strength-based approach to education and social-emotional learning opportunities that allows students to increase their academic self-efficacy, positive identity, and social skills. 

We envision a future where the possibilities, opportunities, and dreams for all youth are limitless regardless of race, gender, or socio-economic circumstances. By providing students with the resources, relationships, and services they need, the 49ers Academy is changing lives – one student at a time.
