Canine Companions
Missão
Canine Companions is leading the service dog industry so our clients and their dogs can live with greater independence. We provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Since our founding in 1975, our dogs and all follow-up services are provided at no cost to our clients.
Sobre Nós
We are a national non-profit looking to grow our volunteer community in the Los Angeles area and have some unique, long-term volunteer opportunities such as puppy raising. While we are headquartered in Santa Rosa, our Southwest region is based out of Oceanside, and we are looking for more volunteers in this region. Our volunteers say they "come for the dogs and stay for the people", and we a would love to continue to highlight and build awareness about this fun volunteer opportunity to the Los Angeles community.
