HIGHLAND RELIEF ORGANIZATION

The mission of the Highland Relief Organization (HRO), since inception, has been to support education in countries located in Eastern Africa, as an alternative to endemic violence and crime, by providing underprivileged individuals and families with food and medical relief, as well as offering educational materials, tools and equipment, and limited financial support, under guidance, to uplift the populations of East Africa and reduce dire need. In providing alternatives to violence and discouraging criminal activity, HRO strives to empower young people through education, thus enabling them to sustain themselves in the future and contribute to their families, communities, society at large, and to the economic growth, advancement, and productivity of their nations
