Royal Aid for Development

Royal Aid for Development (ROAD) is a Non-Governmental Nonprofit making Organization Founded on 20th April 2003 and registered with South Sudanese authorities (Ministry of legal affairs Reg. No 2755) in accordance with the South Sudan NGO’s Act 2016 and (Relief and Rehabilitation Commission - RRC Reg. No 383) as a Humanitarians actor. ROAD is dedicated to supporting the people in distress, and threatened by conflict, poverty, or other disasters

ROAD is one of the award winner of the “Ethiopia-Sudan Development Marketplace” DM event organized by the World Bank and its partners such as CIDA, Ethiopia Airline, Irish Aid, OXFAM-GB, UNDP-Ethiopia, UNDP-SRRF, UNDP-Sudan and UNICEF-OLS, which took place at the UNECA Conference Centre in Addis Ababa, February 26-28 2003. The Development Marketplace prize was disbursed through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)’s Program Support Unit – Horn of Africa based in Addis Ababa Ethiopia
