Animation Director (Remote)

Position Overview:

Creshendo is seeking a creative and skilled pro bono Animation Director to contribute to our storytelling initiative, which aims to raise global awareness about the challenges faced by migrants and refugees. In this role, you will develop animations that blend cartoon and non-cartoon styles to visualize stories, protect participants' anonymity, and enhance the project's engagement and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create storyboards based on podcast scripts and interview transcriptions.

- Develop animations blending cartoon and non-cartoon styles to enhance storytelling.

- Edit and integrate animations with audio recordings to create cohesive episodes.

- Ensure all animations align with the podcast’s theme and visual standards.

- Collaborate with the project manager and social media artist to ensure consistency in visual storytelling.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in animation software, including AI tools.

- Strong artistic and creative skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to follow a consistent visual style and meet project deadlines.

- Experience in animation and multimedia production is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Commitment to 5-10 hours per week.
