An integral component of our care is having empathetic Volunteers. These individuals have the
ability to understand and share the feelings of someone who is experiencing loss. These special
Volunteers know firsthand how much it means for someone to simply be there for them.
Sometimes the family and caregivers are struggling more than the individual receiving hospice
care, and those that have experienced the loss of a loved one are very much aware of this. Just
being there for them shows you care, and it means so much!
I am reaching out to you today to see if you would be interested in using your experiences to
help others. There are many ways you can do this, both directly and indirectly. Our volunteer
opportunities have a positive impact on those we serve.
Some of our volunteer opportunities include:
memorial services
assisting with mailings, putting together packets or training manuals, and more
