Volunteer World Nepal assists with the development of Nepali communities through a diverse range of projects. Volunteer World Nepal's programs aimed at children, youth and women. Empowering these groups will create positive change in Nepal. To reach this goal, we place volunteers in schools, women's or child care centres and monasteries.
How can I volunteer?
You can complete our contact form or application form here. Afterward, we can have a conversation about your skills and determine which placement would be the best fit for you. It's also possible to combine multiple placements. For example, you could spend two weeks at the women's center in Kathmandu and then another two weeks at a school in a rural area. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals of all ages, from high school students to retired teachers.
What is included in volunteering?
As a volunteer, you will receive an introduction that includes Nepali lessons, and sightseeing and we take you to your host family and workplace. For more information on prices, have a look at our fees page.
