Volunteer Opportunity with Preferred Hospice of Ozark

Preferred Hospice of Ozark urgently seeks compassionate volunteers to provide companionship to patients in long-term care facilities and their homes across the greater Springfield area, including Republic, Hartville, Willard, and Branson. Our patients thrive with one-on-one interaction, and your companionship can make a significant difference in their lives.

As a volunteer, you'll become a personal companion and friend to our patients, engaging in conversations and activities such as reading, crafts, puzzles, or simply spending quality time together. Your presence brings comfort and joy to those in need.

Additionally, Preferred Hospice reimburses mileage accrued from visiting patients at a rate of $0.51 per mile. Please note that volunteers are required to undergo a background check, drug screening, and TB tests as part of our commitment to patient safety and care.
