Florida Youth At Risk is a youth-centered nonprofit that empowers underserved youth through music, creative programs, community events, and leadership opportunities. We are building a brand that reflects the energy, talent, and vision of the youth we serve.
What You’ll Do:
- Share your journey into sound tech or sound design
- Demonstrate or explain gear like mics, mixers, speakers
- Show examples of sound cues or effects in music or theater
- Answer youth questions and give guidance
Who You Are:
- A working or former sound tech, live engineer, or designer
- Comfortable showing tools or discussing workflows
- Friendly, patient, and excited to teach
Why It Matters:
Sound is often invisible, but unforgettable. You show youth the power of what they hear.
