young people in challenging situations who may be having difficulty becoming the best
versions of themselves.
This newly founded organisation is an excellent place for creative social entrepreneurs to connect and build a community. This position is ideal if you want to play a vital role in the change you wish to see. You will do this by creating, managing and facilitating bespoke intervention programs for young people in challenging circumstances.
We work with Schools, PRU’s, Social Care and other youth provisions. This is a great chance for growth as you will be tackling social issues affecting young adults by designing your own bespoke style of intervention while getting familiar with youth organisations.
You will also be managing mentor training and program placement. You will be liaising with our advisory boards and external community organisations in addition to coordinating actions to ensure effective programs are delivered as planned. This role is a significant part of the Always Progress team and journey
You will design sessions that would be delivered both online and in person. We also offer “Mental Health First Aider'' training and share good practice for all as quality of delivery is paramount to us and our young people. You would have to be willing to undertake training in youth self development coaching, managing community / youth provisions and delivery of online and practical programs.
We are a youth lead organisation prepared to engage with young people on their terms and adapt delivery to best suit the cohort we are working with.

through creative arts and practical activities creates some really exciting and rewarding

The Role: Programe Director / Youth advisory board member:
The main focus of the Programme director is to manage, facilitate, create and deliver specialised intervention programs. Programme directors are expected to model positive behaviour, represent the company's core values, delegate and deliver clear instructions to mentors, sign up cohorts for programme delivery, engage with young people and set activities.
Applicants will need to have experience in working within an alternative provision school/provision and be confident in team management.
As a new organisation we are recruiting volunteer program directors under a contract agreement that will advance to a freelance contract. Program directors can go on to become company members with significant control. Taking time to build individuals into strong roles where they are confident and competent will allow us to deliver a consistent quality service.
Responsibilities:
1. Read and adhere to Always Progress Safeguarding Policy and Procedure.
2. Read and adhere to Always Progress Data Protection Policy and Procedure.
3. Read and adhere to Always Progress Behaviour Policy and Procedure.
4. Read and adhere to Always Progress Equality and Diversity Policy.
5. Produce current DBS and CV (Record of Employment and Training).
6. When possible take part in training to advance skills and personal development.
7. When requested, create lesson plans for an agreed upon date.
8. Manage the mentors training and placement (line manager).
9. Contract schools/provisions to programme delivery packages.
10. Clearly and concisely delegate to practitioners in a respectful manner.
11. Meet quarterly with the advisory board and leadership team.
12. Ensure effective delivery and advancement of intervention programs
13. Promote and build awareness of services
