At Communities In Schools, we believe that every student, regardless of their background or circumstances, should have what they need to realize their full potential in school and beyond. Through relationships with caring adults who work in schools and across communities, we connect students to school and community resources, so they show up to school prepared and ready to learn.
The Holidays are here, and with them comes the annual Communities in Schools Gulf South Holiday Adopt-A-Family program! CIS partners with schools in Southern Louisiana to make sure their students have a magical Christmas. We invite individuals to show off their gift wrapping abilities and help contribute to a local family's holiday.
Our shifts are 9 AM - 12 PM or 1 PM - 4 PM, December 8th-12th. Thank you for helping CIS and your local schools.
