Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive role within the Mountain Valor Foundation (MVF), responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, overseeing the organization's financial operations, and ensuring financial integrity to support MVF’s mission. Reporting directly to the President and indirectly to the Vice President in the President’s absence, the CFO works closely with the COO, CDO, and other senior executives to drive financial sustainability, manage risks, and optimize resource allocation in alignment with MVF’s mission to serve wounded veterans and first responders.
Disclosure: As MVF is in its growth phase, this position is currently an unpaid volunteer-based position with flexible time requirements. The incumbent who volunteers, is selected, and fills this role, dedicating their time, passion, and loyalty to helping us continue to grow will be offered a secured salaried employment position based upon successful fundraising efforts.
