March for Babies- Onsite Event Support Richmond

Event support at our March for Babies walk through set-up/take down, registration, greeting guests, supporting walkers, and leading activities during the event.

Role: Welcome participants, help with set-up/take down, resupply ongoing activities, hand out materials/refreshments, foster participation onsite through various games and connecting with participants, and/or lead activities during the event.

Purpose: The U.S. is amongst the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color. Join us at March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement and help make America a more equitable place and ensure every family is healthy. March of Dimes is a a leader in the fight for the health of moms and babies. March of Dimes has helped millions of babies survive and thrive. We continue to build on that by leveling the playing field for all moms and babies, no matter their age, socio-economic background or demographics. We also support moms throughout their pregnancy, even when everything doesn’t go according to plan. We advocate for policies that prioritize their health and pioneer research to find solutions to the biggest health threats to moms and babies.
