Program Manager- CodeHER

EmpowHERto partners with black and Latina girls and young women from underserved communities between 14-21, empowering them with the necessary tools to thrive and effect positive systemic change.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to assist in organizing the final details of our CodeHER program. CodeHER is an initiative aimed at empowering young women with coding and computer science skills through curated modules. As the Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and impact of the program.

Responsibilities:

• • Collaborate with the program team to finalize the structure and content of the CodeHER program.
  • Create the modules to create a comprehensive curriculum.
  • Determine the length and pacing of each module to optimize the learning experience for participants.
  • Coordinate with instructors and mentors to provide support and guidance to participants throughout the program.
  • Monitor participants' progress and assist as needed.
  • Plan and execute a graduation event to celebrate participants' achievements.
  • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve the program.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, education, program management).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with coding or educational programming is a plus.
  • Passion for empowering minority young women and girls.

This is a volunteer position until the program starts. 10 hours week.
