Through Wish of a Lifetime from AARP’s program, you can help older adults realize their lifelong dreams and share their stories to inspire people of all ages. Whether you are passionate about granting a lifelong wish, making meaningful connections within your community, or sharing inspiring stories there’s an opportunity for you to be part of our mission.

Wish Discovery

Help support Wish of a Lifetime’s mission to shift the way society views and values our oldest generations by fulfilling seniors’ dreams and sharing their stories to inspire those of all ages through discovering wishes in your community. Wish Discovery volunteers play a major role in nominating older adults in their community. To source a wish volunteer will:

·        Identify a minimum of one deserving older adult to nominate each year.

·        Commit to learn and ask questions about the individuals life experiences, passions, and important people in their life. The National Field team will provide training and supporting documentation in the volunteer portal.

·        Once a wish is determined, submit the application at www.wishofalifetime.org!
