Union Station Homeless Services is the San Gabriel Valley's largest and most comprehensive social services agency, serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Our organization relies heavily on the support of volunteer groups to provide daily home-cooked meals to our shelter residents and community members in need. Gather your friends, family, corporation, and/or civic group and provide a meal for our Adult Center.

Volunteers must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to cook/serve onsite.
Please note that there is an age requirement for volunteering in the kitchen. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed in the kitchen at any time. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old with a chaperone, 16 to volunteer without.
Dress code: We ask that you please wear closed toed shoes and long pants for your safety and protection.
**Volunteers will be required to wear a surgical grade mask or higher (not cloth). If you do not have a surgical mask, Union Station Homeless Services will be able to provide you one upon arrival to your volunteer shift. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required if serving/cooking at our facilities. Additionally, all volunteers must read and acknowledge a COVID liability waiver onsite.

Unable to cook or plan a meal, but still interested in helping? In lieu of providing a meal, our kitchen staff would be grateful for a Smart&Final gift card to assist with costs.
