Development Committee Volunteer

The development committee is responsible for all fundraising and events that contribute to the social and financial well-being of House Rabbit Network (HRN) as an organization. This committee is run by volunteers and reports to the Board of Directors. Meetings are on a monthly basis via zoom; all meetings are held in the evening. We are looking for new volunteers to promote HRN’s philosophy, reach, and community engagement. The ideal volunteer is:

• Willing to take responsibility for an idea and run with it
• Able to work independently with little to no supervision 
• Able to become an active member of the committee and the HRN community
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Experienced working in fundraising or community events, especially in a non-profit space
• Experienced and comfortable working with a large online community
• Organized and has great communication skills

Knowledge about bunny care or bunny ownership is not required. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
