Help Older New Yorkers Connect Through Tech

As a DOROT tech volunteer, you will help late tech adopters learn to use smartphones, laptops or tablets to stay in touch with friends and loved ones, access information and learn skills. The ideal volunteer is patient, comfortable with technology and enthusiastic about helping older people. DOROT provides training. No special expertise is required.

Volunteers make a 3-month commitment for 2 hours per week. Coaching opportunities are available for those who wish to volunteer remotely or in person.
