Operations & Program Volunteer

MobilizeHer (MH) seeks one or more volunteers to help execute programs and work on special projects and events. This is a great opportunity to fight for gender justice while learning the ins and outs of a local grassroots women’s organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support MH directors with project management and administrative tasks
• Help execute flagship programs including directory, hub, and #GiveWomen campaigns
• Undertake special projects (marketing, fundraising, etc.) and events as needed

Qualifications:

• Commitment to building a more equitable world for self-identified women and gender expansive-people
• Excellent writing, research and critical thinking skills
• Solid video and photo editing skills
• Good judgment, hustle and resourcefulness
• Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
• Leadership experience in small nonprofit, student organization, etc. a plus

Other information:

• Unpaid remote volunteer position
• Expected time commitment is 5-10 hours/week
• Possible academic credit
