Young Creative Ambassador Volunteer

We are looking for a team of Young Creative Ambassador Volunteers, aged 16-25, to represent their area of Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil.  This role will work closely with our Marketing and Communications team and Volunteer Co-ordinator to plan and promote events that will help to raise awareness of Artis Community Cymuned and our new home at YMa.  We are particularly keen to recruit as diverse a team as possible to fully represent the rich diversity of our communities across Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil including LGBTQI+, BAME, Welsh language, Deaf/disabled communities and more across all age groups. 

Objective(s) of role

•  To raise awareness of Artis Community Cymuned by planning and promoting events.
•  To raise awareness of our new multi-million pound Place for Creativity, Culture and the Arts at our new home in YMa, Pontypridd.
•  To raise the profile of Artis Community Cymued and YMa, promoting both organisations using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
•  Design and share content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to engage with Artis Community Cymuned.          

 Skills and Experience Needed

•  Positive attitude, willingness to learn and engage with learning opportunities with good multitasking and organisational ability.
•  An interest in the arts.
•  Local knowledge would also be valuable in this role.
