Cosmetology/Haircut Volunteer

Please Note: our fall volunteer orientation session will be held on Saturday, November 15th from 9a – 5p.

The application process and online training component must be completed to be eligible to register for the in-person orientation.

Licensed cosmetologists greatly needed to provide 1 to 2 haircuts per month for hospice patients in all of our 13-county service area!

Bring encouragement and confidence to persons facing end of life by providing a haircut to a hospice patient that can no longer leave their home.

Licensed cosmetologists needed for haircuts and styling - time commitment would be occasional approximately 1-2 haircuts per month.

Note: volunteers are asked to wait one year after the death of a family member before volunteering.

We offer a flexible Volunteer Orientation program!

This training program format will allow candidates to complete some of the required training thru an on-line program at your convenience and provide additional times and locations for the in-person training component. The goal is to shorten the on-boarding process and add more flexibility in the training process making it easier for interested individuals to join our volunteer program.
