Canadian Institute of STEM Innovation (CISI) is a registered not for profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.
Job Summary:

We are looking for a volunteer STEM Ambassador to work within our Admissions Department based in Nigeria, other regions of West Africa, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States, who brings high energy as STEM’s first point of contact with prospective students and their parents. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is client orientated, and always wears a welcoming smile. You have a high focus on organization, attention to detail and are always learning about our programs and facility to share your knowledge. You know the importance of implementing and following guidelines and are committed to work as a team to achieve the institution’s goals. Most importantly, you value the importance of a STEM education and understand it’s global benefits to the future of a child’s academic success.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Works closely with our Canadian and American team of executives.
-Stays current on the organization’s activities, and programs to effectively advise new students/parents.
-Assists with enrolment inquiries by responding to online inquiries and directing them to the right individual for registration.
-Assists with communication with parents on an ongoing basis, as needed.
-Assists with coordinating presentations and coordinates campus recruiting activities, to inform prospective students/ parents about programs offered by the institution.
-Maintains bulletin boards, social media posts, online classified posts and communication with local schools and organizations.
-Organizes, inputs and updates student information, keeping all records current.
-Prepares admission reports by collecting and reviewing relevant data and trends.
-Builds relationships with all school personnel including faculty, counsellors, and student services, effectively working as a team and supporting new students needs to the best of your ability.
Skills and Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Business Administration or a related field; or
-1+ year experience or a keen interest in working as a global STEM Ambassador with emphasis on recruitment and advocacy for STEM related education.
-Competent in a variety of computer software including client relationship management programs, and Microsoft Office, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and social media platforms.
-Proficient in word processing and data entry
-Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines
-Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
-Works effectively as part of a team, dependable and takes initiative
-Can creatively solve problems ensuring positive outcomes
-Possesses solid decision-making skills, and high work standards, committed to upholding the institutions reputation

-3-month temporary contract with possibility of extension

Compensation:
-Performance based compensation with the ability to earn $1,000 to $6,000+ Canadian dollars per month.
-Residual income and bonuses paid monthly.
-Ability to become a team lead and earn money from your team’s success.
-Promotion to territory manager with proven performance.
