Organisation Development Advisor

FEDOMA is an apex body and lead organization of the Disability Movement in Malawi. Founded March 1999, FEDOMA is a non-profit organization based in Blantyre, Malawi. The Disability Movement in Malawi is a network of twelve (12) Disability Persons Organizations (DPOs), as at January 2022, brought together under FEDOMA through their commitment to provide equal opportunities for persons with disabilities i.e., all ordinary citizens from grassroots to elite, and through the belief to contribute to a better Malawi with equal opportunities for all individuals. These member organizations are represented in the General Assembly as the FEDOMA’s highest decision-making body.

FEDOMA is looking for the services of an Organisation Development specialist to support our organisation as Organisation Development Advisor. The Organizational Development Advisor will work with FEDOMA secretariat to enhance the organizational capacity and effectiveness of FEDOMA and its affiliates. The work will involve contributing to organizational capacity assessments, preparing and operationalizing organizational improvement plans, and ensuring that FEDOMA secretariat and its affiliates receive the capacity building support they need. The Advisor may give both one-on-one technical assistance and group trainings, depending on the needs of FEDOMA and the affiliates.

The Organizational Development Advisor will work virtually supporting FEDOMA based on agreed time schedule.
