About The 831 Experience
The 831 Experience is a transformative two-day journey designed to honor and uplift 200 unhoused guests with dignity, care, and community. Through curated programming, shared meals, grooming, wellness services, and moments of restoration, each guest is seen, supported, and celebrated.

The Role
We’re seeking a motivated Project Manager to help bring The 831 Experience to life in downtown Phoenix. You’ll work closely with the Powered by Love team to coordinate logistics, manage timelines, and ensure a smooth and impactful event for both our volunteers and our 200 honored guests.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of event logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and community partners.
- Manage volunteer scheduling and communications.
- Track tasks and timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide on-site leadership and support during the January 16–17 event.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in event planning or project management preferred.
- Able to take initiative and work independently.
- Must be within driving distance of downtown Phoenix.
Commitment & Compensation
- Part-time role, Fall 2024 through January 2025.
- This is a volunteer or internship opportunity at present. A small stipend may become available if funding is secured.
