Oral History Project Volunteer

The Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society is seeking volunteers to help with a current oral history project exploring that relationships between high school athletics and the desegregation of public schools between 1954 and 1974.

Volunteers will:

• Report to the Race & Sports Project Coordinator
• Conduct background research on individuals, schools, and teams
• Collect photographic materials and permissions for use on a website and in a future documentary film
• Code/tag interview transcripts for important themes
