Volunteer Services: Recruitment Team Leader (On-boarding & Training)

Do you like making people feel welcomed and a part of the team? Are you detail orientated and a good communicator?

Purpose: Volunteers are essential to the delivery of the Red Cross mission. We're looking to grow our recruitment team. The Recruitment Team Leader will provide support and guidance to new volunteers, laying the foundation for successful volunteer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Receive referrals for new recruitment team members, set up initial welcome call, communicate by email and phone regarding on-boarding and initial training;
• Set up new team members with email account, access to resources;
• Communicate weekly with all team members regarding, upcoming trainings, team meetings, send reminders for logging hours and submitting activities;
• Maintain volunteer data and information with accuracy and consistency.

Time Commitment:

• 1-3 hours per week, for a minimum of 6 months;
• Week day availability between 9am-4pm required; ideally available Monday mornings from 10-11am for a team planning meeting but flexible;
• Some evening and/or weekend day availability ideal but not required.

• This is a virtual opportunity for those residing in Baltimore City, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, and Montgomery counties, Maryland.
