Pregnancy Support Volunteer

Birthright offers life-affirming alternatives to abortion in the form of free and confidential services to all girls and women, regardless of age, race, religion, marital, or socioeconomic status, who may feel distressed by an unplanned pregnancy. Birthright volunteers provide pregnancy tests, emotional support for difficult pregnancies, referrals for medical assistance, employment, housing, and material support for pregnant women and their families. Volunteers must be willing to travel to our office in Oakland. There is street parking only. We prefer volunteers who can commit to a consistent weekly 2 hour (minimum) shift.
