Volunteer Team Lead

Wings Ministries is seeking a dedicated and organized Team Lead to join our team! The ideal candidate has a heart to serve, oversees classroom activities, support volunteers, and ensures a smooth and effective learning environment for all participants. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both people and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures new volunteers have appropriate materials and have completed necessary steps to begin serving in the classroom.

Acts as a coach to team members.

Oversees teaching of modules during class while managing time and discussion.

Ensures adequate supply of module handouts and other class supplies/materials are available.

Communicates known calendar changes or adjustments with WINGS leadership and facility staff.

Ensures required release forms and surveys are completed by participants and sent to appropriate staff members for filing.

Ensures original copy of facility release forms and/or facility attendance sheets are left with facility staff when required.

Ensures class attendance, including volunteer hours, are recorded in the appropriate folder in Google Drive.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in an educational or volunteer-based setting.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively.

Proficiency with Google Drive and other basic computer applications.
