Heartland Hospice services approximately 200 patients and
their families each day. We offer support to terminally ill people, caregivers
and bereaved along their journey. COVID-19 has increased the isolation and
loneliness that our clients are facing, and we have come up with creative ways
that members of the community can show our love and support through meaningful
arts, crafts, and sewing projects.
Volunteers can work on these items at home and at your own pace, delivering
finished projects to our business office at your convenience. We provide
education about hospice and an idea booklet. Some of the projects we suggest
are:
Memory Tins
Busy Boxes
Prayer Beads
Jewelry Art
Memory Bears, Pillows, , Fidget Blankets and Shawls
What ideas do you have? Now is an important time in our world to be of service.
We would love to work with you as you help us help our patients and families
through an extraordinarily difficult time.
Call me and let's talk!
