At The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, education is not just about theory—it is rooted in a commitment to innovation, service, and community. Our practitioner faculty integrate classroom learning with relevant, applicable examples from their own experiences in the field, providing students with valuable skills that they carry with them throughout their careers. Graduates emerge ready to make positive changes in diverse communities and organizations at a local and global level.
The Chicago School is known for fostering one of the field’s most pioneering and innovative learning environments, blending world-class theoretical preparation with multicultural training and intensive hands-on learning. Classroom instruction is supported and enhanced by multiple opportunities for applying skills in real-worldsettings and building resumes that will prepare students for their post-graduate professional lives.
Throughout their educational experience, students will benefit from intensive personal and professional mentoring offered by practitioner faculty, and from multicultural training that will prepare them for the global world.
Our faculty members take learning seriously, participating in programs to measure their effectiveness as teachers and receiving year-round training in attitudes, behaviors, and processes that support student learning. We systematically evaluate student learning outcomes and apply the assessment skills and 360-degree feedback tools of the psychology field to help students better understand and capitalize on their unique learning styles.
The Chicago School of Professional Psychology has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) since 2011. The Psy.D in Clinical Psychology program at the Anaheim and Los Angeles Campus is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).

Students at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s Anaheim, Los Angeles and San Diego Campuses pursue a wide range of degrees in psychology and behavioral sciences available at the bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and certificate level.
Our three Southern California Campuses are home to a vibrant and diverse group of learners and educators who emerge from our programs with a global perspective. To help students develop into practitioners who can better serve their communities, our psychology programs integrate multicultural perspectives into of some of California’s fastest-growing fields in psychology, including Clinical Psychology, Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy, Business Psychology, and Forensic Psychology.
