Advance Your Career With a Graduate Business or Nonprofit Credential
Whether you are seeking a promotion, anticipating a career change, or specializing in a particular area of business or nonprofit work, North Park University’s School of Business and Nonprofit Management has a master’s degree or graduate level certificate to help you meet your goals. Through curriculum designed for working professionals, you’ll prepare for your next leadership role in business or nonprofit organizations by integrating values, ethics, and decision-making with a focus on best practices and proven strategies for success.
Five graduate degrees are available:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Higher Education Administration (MHEA)
- Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM)
- Master of Nonprofit Administration (MNA)
- Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL)
You can also choose from 16 graduate-level certificates that focus on the relevant topics for leadership in companies and organizations of any size. These certificates can be completed as stand-alone credentials or alongside one of the available master’s degrees.
Designed for Working Professionals
Leverage your day-to-day experience in the workplace for your education, and apply what you’re learning in the classroom to your work life. North Park’s flexible scheduling and accelerated course format allows you to maintain your career while you earn your master’s degree, and course content recognizes the value that your experience and real-life examples bring to your degree.
Each graduate course is only seven weeks long; face-to-face classes meet once per week, usually on a weeknight and occasionally on Saturdays. Courses start six times each year, in August, October, January, March, May, and July. Most students complete their master’s degrees in two-and-a-half years; certificates are easily completed in one year.
Learn In-Person or Online
Take classes at two campus locations and online. Our main campus in Chicago is easily accessible by car or public transit, and the campus at the University Center of Lake County provides a convenient option for students living and working throughout Chicagoland. Online classes are “asynchronous” in format—there is no set class time each week so you can log in and participate on your own schedule. All School of Business and Nonprofit Management master’s degrees, and many certificates, can be completed 100% online.
Affordable Tuition with Generous Scholarship Options
The School of Business and Nonprofit management offers competitive tuition rates with options for student loans and payment plans. Degree and certificate students can qualify for financial aid, and scholarships can reduce your costs by 10 to 35 percent.
Once you have one degree, you can keep coming back for more coursework at a 50 percent tuition discount. Our Lifetime Learning Program can help you complete a second master’s degree or continue to add expertise in specialized fields as your own career grows and changes.
