Annual Reports & Communications Editor (Volunteer)

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a short-term volunteer, focusing on key tasks to enhance our organizational communication and outreach. The primary responsibilities include: 

 1. Collect updated program statistics 

- Collaborate with our Country Director (in Spanish) to gather updated statistics regarding student graduation and success rates.  

- Prepare relevant information for inclusion in the annual reports, 'Fast Facts', and website. 

2. Edit and Publish Annual Reports

- Utilize our pre-defined template and format to publish three annual reports (12-15pp each). This includes updating text and statistics, changing photos from previous years, in drafting 3-4 pages of new content for each report.

- Ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to branding guidelines. 

- Work closely with the Development Director & Executive Director to deliver polished and professional reports. 

 3. Prepare Sponsorship Pitch Summaries 

 - Create concise and compelling one-page summaries highlighting impact of key program areas. 

 - Tailor content for targeted sponsorship pitches, showcasing the organization's mission and impact. 

 Qualifications:

- Excellent written communication skills.

- Proficiency in editing and formatting reports using provided templates (Microsoft Word, with option to switch programs depending on volunteer preferences) 

- Ability to collaborate with team members and liaise effectively with the Country Director. 

- Intermediate+ proficiency in Spanish (at least enough to manage email correspondence with translation tools; note that the Directors can support with communication if necessary)

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 

 Profile: 

- This position is open to both students or post-education volunteers. 

- A commitment of approximately 30 hours, with flexibility for additional time based on personal investment.
