Madison Project is informed by the belief that the Arts can particularize as well as universalize the human experience; entertain as well as enlighten; inspire appreciation for the talents of others as well as inspire self-exploration and creativity; and they can deepen the sense of connection to the human community, and to oneself.

Recognizing these multiple possibilities of artistic expression and audience participation, the mission of the Madison Project is to create an open, caring, challenging yet supportive artistic setting, where artistic excellence, creativity, collaboration, and the free exchange of ideas can take place. The Madison Project is committed to providing access to the Performing and Visual Arts Center to all sectors of the Los Angeles community so that new and future generations of artists and audiences will renew the possibilities and promise of the Arts.
