We create centers and schools where students are solving real-world problems. At HackSchool, students use 3D printers, laser cutters, circuits, coding, etc... to solve problems like a low-cost prosthetic hand, free food pantries for the neighborhood, or science materials for the visually impaired. At our second center, Street Knowledge, students use literacy & tools of social activism to create student-created/led empowerment curriculum for younger students or student-created/led equity professional development for teachers and administrators.
