NCSY is the official youth
movement of the Orthodox Union (OU), established sixty years ago with the
specific goal of developing a passion for Judaism in the challenging
demographic of teenagers. Since that time, NCSY has grown to serve 20,000 teens
annually in more than 200 cities throughout the United States. NCSY provides a
venue for participants to develop an appreciation, understanding, and love of
their Jewish heritage and Israel irrespective of religious background and/or
affiliation. By offering a broad range of experiential and educational programs,
NCSY enables teens to move forward on their Jewish journey. Integral to establishing their identity as
young committed Jews are NCSY’s more intensive programs that include Shabbatons
and Israel summer programs.
