    Collectively is a leadership strategy firm that supports industry and issue-leading organizations and communities that are going through a Growth Crunch—when demand is surging, culture is shifting, and leaders need to level up fast to meet the moment.

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced trainer and facilitator based in NYC to lead the delivery of engaging learning experiences that drive meaningful outcomes for participants. In this role, you'll guide groups through structured, interactive sessions, using proven facilitation techniques to foster participation, adapt to group dynamics in real-time, and ensure all voices are heard. You'll facilitate custom workshops and training programs tailored to specific organizational needs, incorporating adult learning principles and interactive methodologies.

    This role is ideal for a very seasoned, confident facilitator who is passionate about creating impactful change within organizations by helping individuals develop and sharpen their leadership and management skills.

    This role will work closely with Molly Rodau, Founder & CEO of Collectively.

    🎯 What you'll bring to the table:

    • 5+ years of experience facilitating management and/or leadership development content
    • Experience with virtual learning platforms (we use Zoom)
    • A desire to learn quickly and stay abreast of industry best practices, and leverage insights to suggest improvements to our existing program(s)
    • Ability to work well with various people, personalities, multiple timelines/calendars, and a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
    • A commitment to being a lifelong learner
    • A cell phone, computer, and access to high speed, high quality internet

    🛑 This role is probably NOT right for you if:

    • You prefer designing training curriculums rather than executing the training work itself (though we encourage feedback and iteration on current curriculums; this is primarily a facilitation role)
    • You are an experienced coach, but not an experienced facilitator
    • You like ideas more than action
    • You don’t like to get your hands dirty and try new things

    💼 Schedule:

    • This will be a part-time, 1099 position to start
    • Will change based on program delivery schedules
    • Looking for someone who wants to commit significant time to partnering on this work

    📍 Location:

    • Flexible - training and internal meetings will be remote
    • Facilitation with teams will be a mix of virtual and on site in NY and potentially other states

    💰 Compensation structure:

    • Live facilitation: $200/hour
    • Preparation time: We compensate 1 hour of prep for each hour of facilitation, at $100/hour
    • Any other calls, training time, etc.: $40/hour
    • Example: For a 2 hour training session, you would be compensated $600

    📝 Application process:

    • Stage 1: Complete an application (estimated time: 15-20 mins)
    • Stage 2: Record and upload a 3-5 minute demo video of you facilitating any material of your choosing. We are looking at your facilitation style, not the content - so focus on HOW you facilitate and don't worry about the what (could be management, could be how to fix a clock!)
    • Stage 3: Interview with Molly Rodau, Founder & CEO of Collectively
    • Stage 4: Reference checks and offer
