Digital Video Content Associate (10 hours per week- 3 month contract)

Schedule: Flexible, but work must be performed during core business hours and establishing a schedule is preferred.

Location: Primarily remote, but some in person maybe requested and useful. The office is located in near Metro Center in downtown, DC.

Salary: $28/h

We are looking for Digital Content Associate with video experience to join our client on a part-time basis starting in November for approximately 3 months. The client, an association focused on pediatric healthcare, is looking for someone to support the Communications and External Affairs team (specifically a digital content and social media manager) by creating compelling videos and graphics for their social channels. The organization has video content ready to be used, but some new footage may be taken as well.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality videos, motion graphics, audio-visual materials and aids for marketing and informational purposes
• Organizes footage, graphics, creates transcripts, assembles rough cuts, resizes videos and edits short form content
• Assists in planning, creating, and managing video content and graphics for external communications including social media, email blasts, and newsletters

Experience:

• 2- 3 years of video production, social media scheduling, publishing and graphic design
• Experience editing videos for the following social platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and YouTube
• Proven experience in editing a range of video formats, including short-form content (like social media Reels) and long-form videos
• Experience with Adobe Premier Pro, Canva
• PR firm or previous similar experience for an association is highly preferred
