    ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Cope Family Center has been empowering Napa County families to create happy, healthy lives for their children through child abuse prevention, parent education, and self-sufficiency services since 1972. Cope Family Center is a 501(c)3 organization with a current budget of $2.5 million, 23 full and part-time staff, a 6-member board, and nearly 100 active volunteers. Cope leads several community collaborative projects to address systemic issues impacting child maltreatment in the community, as well as being a key participant in disaster response efforts in partnership with Napa County. The organization’s work is guided by a strategic plan that is utilized to examine and seize opportunities for refining and expanding its programming in alignment with current community needs. Cope’s 53 years of service to the Napa community are a testament to its sustainability.

    JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Director (ED), in partnership with the Board, sets the strategic direction of the organization, guided by Cope’s values. The ED is responsible for providing visionary leadership in accordance with the organization's mission and will be central to moving forward in implementing both internal and external objectives outlined in the strategic plan.

The ED directly supervises a three-person executive team, including: 1) Program Director, 2) Director of Finance and Administration (contracted) 3) Development and Marketing Director. We are seeking a savvy, dynamic leader who leads by example, embodies Cope’s core values, and provides steady guidance to help both the executive team and staff excel in their roles.
