Solar Renewable Energy

Access to Solar Technologies Uganda, is a community based social enterprise with our main objective of improving the lives of rural people in areas of Eastern Uganda.

Through powering (lighting) up peoples lives with solar power, in doing this we charge their lives socially and economically not only that but also it improves on their education and health levels.

We are currently looking forward to having volunteers who are enthusiastic on changing the lives of rural people who are off grid and also protect the environment.

The Key Responsibilities are ;

1. Advocate for renewable energy use especially solar power
2. Designing both programs for renewable energy and Solar Home Systems that are suitable for the off community
3. Resource mobilisation for the organisation.
4. Mentoring and capacity building of the local energy entrepreneurs
5. Monitoring and Evaluation of the exisiting projects

Qualifications;

1. Graduate and above 18years
2. Preferably some one with experience in renewable energy (Solar Power)
3. You have to be more enthusiastic and assertive

Internship with Access to Solar Technologies will enable you gain more experience in Renewable energy, Africa Cultures, access to Sites and Sounds like Lake Victoria one of the biggest lake in Africa with fresh waters, the source of the longest river Nile that runs from Uganda to Egypt into Red sea. and many more sites.
