Wamina – Ending Period Poverty in Mozambique
Wamina is a social enterprise based in Mozambique dedicated to improving menstrual health and gender equality. Since 2016, we have distributed over 300,000 reusable pads and delivered menstrual health education to schools, NGOs, and communities across the country. We partner with humanitarian agencies, companies, and schools to provide sustainable solutions that keep girls in school and empower women.
Interns with Wamina will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, sales, CSR engagement, and program development, while contributing directly to a mission that changes lives. Our team is small, dynamic, and impact-driven, offering a meaningful learning environment where your work will have a visible effect.
