  • Missão

The Bucks County Conservation District mission is to provide for the wise use, management and development of the county's soil, water and related natural resources. This is accomplished with the cooperation of public agencies, private groups and individuals.

    Sobre Nós

The Bucks County Conservation District is a unit of state government and was authorized and formed by the Bucks County Board of Commissioners on April 24, 1961, under the provisions of the Conservation District Law, Act 217 of 1945, as amended.

The Bucks County Conservation District works to help people and the community take care of the natural resources in Bucks County including soil, water, wildlife, trees and other plants. Using natural resources wisely helps to ensure their availability well into the future.

In addition to our role as a regulatory body, the District operates a variety of environmental restoration projects to preserve and improve the condition of the natural resources of Bucks County. Volunteers help us achieve the mission to wisely manage our county's resources through efforts that include but are not limited to assisting with educational programming, monitoring the quality of our waterways, removing invasive plants that threaten our native ecosystems and planting trees to restore water quality and function of riparian areas.
