Senator Jill P. Carter has represented Maryland's 41st District in the Maryland General Assembly since 2018. She is committed to ensuring justice, transparency, and accountability across all levels of government. Committed to providing exemplar assistance to all of her constituents, she has been named to the Daily Record Top 100 Women list and as the Legislator of the Year by the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, among other recognitions. Prior to her tenure in the Senate, Carter served in the Maryland House of Delegates and as Director of Civil Rights and Wage Enforcement for Baltimore City.
