Governor Deval Patrick’s Office is seeking highly motivated students interested in a hands-on learning experience in the following departments:

-Press

-New Media and Online Strategy

-Community Affairs

-Constituent Services

-Western MA office in Springfield

-Washington,D.C.Office

As an intern in any of the Governor's Offices, you will gain insight on the various paths within public service and learn valuable skills that will prepare you for your future career!

Governor Patrick's Office is always looking for motivated, hard-working interns to take part in our Internship Program.

Full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of college are eligible to apply.

While the specific duties of interns are determined by the office directors, all internships have in common the expectation that interns will cover phones, do filing, mail processing, data entry, and routine office chores, in addition to any specific projects or tasks assigned. Computer skills are necessary; some familiarity with Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is expected. Previous office experience is strongly preferred.
